I have been singing and leading for almost 20 years (whoa, what?!). It is an unbelievable privilege for me to be used in this area. For this season in my life, while I don’t feel called back into full-time ministry, I do have a deep desire to continue to lead His people in worship. I believe and always will believe that the local church should be led by people who are a part of that congregation. However, I realize there are seasons where that is either unrealistic or there is a need for someone to fill in. If you are needing help in this area, what I can promise - without reservation - is that I will approach leading your congregation as if it is my own.

TRAINING WORSHIP LEADERS & TEAMS

While I think I am probably most known for singing and leading, I have a huge passion for helping those who are leading in worship (be it the upfront leader or the vocal team and band) to lead as authentically and as effectively as they can. It matters how we do what we do and many times we can let music itself or our own insecurities get in the way. I believe it is both a discipline and an act of servant leadership when we are tasked with standing on a stage and leading - from how we technically sing to how we engage with the congregation.

SERVICE & CONFERENCE PROGRAMMING

People who know me know that I love to research, brainstorm, program and plan pretty much anything creative. I’ve probably had the same amount of experience in service programming as I’ve had in actually leading services. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead, plan, and program some big conferences and special events. The biggest thing I’ve learned is that there is both an art and a discipline to researching and brainstorming. It takes sensitive, thoughtful, creative energy to provide a meaningful experience for people. It always will.
